S(kVA) = S(VA) / 1000
The Volt-Amp is divided by 1000 is equal to kilo Volt-Amp.
For calculating MVA (Mega Volt-Amp) rating from kVA (kilo Volt-Amp) we have used below formula.
S(MVA) = S(kVA) / 1000
For converting VA to MVA,
S(MVA) = S(VA) / 1000000
Example:
Convert 25000 VA into kVA.
S(kVA) = 25000 / 1000
S(kVA) = 25 kVA.
