Total Energy Calculator:
Enter the values of Mass m(kg) , Velocity V(m/s) , Acceleration of gravity g(9.81m/s2) & Height H(m) to determine the value of Total Energy TE(J).
Total Energy Formula:
The Total Energy TE(J) in Joules is Equal to the Half into Multiply the Mass m(kg) in kilogram and Multiply the Velocity V(m/s) in meter per second is squared and is Addition of the Mass m(kg) in kilogram and Multiply the Acceleration of gravity g(9.81m/s2) in meter per second square and again Multiply the Height H(m) in meter.
The Formula of Total Energy can be written as,
TE(J) = ( ½ * m(kg) * V2(m/s) ) + (m(kg) * g(9.81m/s2) * H(m) )
Here,
TE(J) = Total Energy in Joules
m(kg) = Mass in kilogram
V(m/s) = Velocity in meter per second
g(9.81m/s2) = Acceleration of gravity in meter per second square
H(m) = Height in meter
Total Energy Calculation:
1) Calculate the Total Energy and given for Mass = 20kg, Velocity = 6m/s, Height = 25m.
Answer
TE = (½ * m * V2) + (m * g * H)
TE = (0.5 * 20 * 62) + (20 * 9.81 * 25)
TE = 5265Joules.
2) Calculate the Height and given for Mass = 20kg, Velocity = 6m/s, Total Energy = 5265Joules.
Answer
TE = (½ * m * V2) + (m * g * H)
5265 = (0.5 * 20 * 62) + (20 * 9.81 * H)
H = 25m.
