Rocket Acceleration Calculator

Enter the values of Force of the Rocket Thrust Ft(Newton) & Mass of the Rocket  mr(kg) to determine the value of Rocket Acceleration RA(m/s2) .

Enter Force of the Rocket Thrust: Newton
Enter Mass of the Rocket: kg

Result – Rocket Acceleration: m/s2

Rocket Acceleration Formula

The Rocket Acceleration RA(m/s2) in meter per second square is equal to the Force of the rocket thrust Ft(Newton) in Newton and is Divided by the Mass of the rocket mr(kg) in kilogram.

The Equation of Rocket Acceleration can be written as,

RA(m/s2) = Ft(Newton) / mr(kg)

Here,

RA(m/s2) = Rocket Acceleration in meter per second square

Ft(Newton) = Force of the rocket thrust in Newton

mr(kg) = Mass of the rocket in kilogram

Rocket Acceleration Calculation :

Answer

RA = Ft / mr

RA = 10000 / 50

RA = 200m/s2.

2)Calculate the Mass of the rocket and given for Force of the rocket = 10000N , Rocket Acceleration = 200m/s2.

Answer

RA = Ft / mr

200 = 10000 / mr

mr = 50kg.
