Relativistic Energy Formula:

The Relativistic Energy KE(J) in Joules is Equal to the Mass m(kg) in kilogram and Multiply the Speed of Light c(m/s) in meter per second and is SQRT of the 1 into Subtracted by the Velocity V(m/s) in meter per second and is squared and Divided by the Speed of Light c(m/s) in meter per second and is squared and Subtracted by the -1.

The Equation of Relativistic Energy can be written as,

KE(J) = m(kg) * c2(m/s) * (SQRT ( 1 – V2(m/s) / c2(m/s)) – 1)

Here,

KE(J) = Relativistic Energy in Joules

m(kg) = Mass in kilogram

c(m/s) = Speed of Light in meter per second

Relativistic Energy Calculation:

1) Calculate the Relativistic Energy and given for the Mass = 100kg, Speed of Light = 299792458m/s, Velocity = 5m/s.

Answer

KE = m * c2 * (SQRT (1 – V2 / c2) – 1)

KE = 100 * 2997924582 * (SQRT (1 – 52 / 2997924582) -1)

 KE = 374740579774 Joules.

2) Calculate the Velocity and given for the Mass = 100kg, Speed of Light = 299792458m/s, Relativistic Energy = 374740579774 Joules.

Answer

KE = m * c2 * (SQRT (1 – V2 / c2) – 1)

374740579774 = 100 * 2997924582 * (SQRT (1 – V2 / 2997924582) -1)

V = 5 m/s.
