Redshift Velocity Calculator, Formula, Redshift Velocity Calculation

Redshift Velocity Calculator:

Enter the values of Redshift Ratio Z &  Speed of the Wave Z  to determine the value of Redshift Velocity V(m/s).

Enter Redshift Ratio:
Enter Speed of the Wave: m/s

Result – Redshift Velocity: m/s

Redshift Velocity Formula:

The Redshift Velocity V(m/s) in meter per second is equal to the Redshift Ratio Z and multiply the Speed of the wave C(m/s) in meter per second.

The Formula of Redshift Velocity can be writtern as,

V(m/s) = Z * C(m/s)

Here,

V(m/s) = Redshift Velocity in meter per second

Z = Redshift Ratio

C(m/s) = Speed of the wave in meter per second

Example Problems for Redshift Velocity:

1)Calculate the Redshift Velocity and given for Redshift Ratio = 1.3 , Speed of the wave = 100,000,005m/s.

Answer

V = Z * C

V = 1.3 * 100,000,005

V = 130000006.5m/s.

2)Calculate the Speed of the wave and given for Redshift Ratio = 1.3 , Redshift Velocity = 130000006.5m/s.

Answer

V = Z * C

130000006.5 = 1.3 * C

C = 100,000,005m/s.
