mAh to Wh conversion calculator
mAh and Wh both units are used to calculate the energy supplied to the system from the source. mAh is used to indicate the battery rating as well as the charge stored in the battery; Wh is used to indicate the energy consumed by equipment.
You do not need to worry about it, we have a calculator for converting mAh to Wh. Just feed the mAh value to be converted at the first box and the voltage in the second box. After pressing the calculate button, you see the net Wh value instantly.
By pressing the reset button, you can clear the values in the box.
Our calculator works based on the below formula.
milliamp-hours to watt-hours calculation:
Watt-hours is the multiplication of supplied current and voltage for the time in hours.
Wh = Volts * Ah
While using mAh, we need to convert Ah to mAh.
Ah = mAh / 1000
Therefore,
Wh = Volts * Ah / 1000
Example:
Calculate 12V, 100mAh battery Watt-hour?
Wh = 12 * 100 / 1000
Watt –Hour = 1.2 Wh
mAh to Wh Conversion Chart:
Below table is a pre-calculated mAh to Wh conversion for 12 Volts. Also, the final Watt-Hour can be varied by changing the input volts.
