Initial Velocity Calculator:
Enter the values of Final Velocity V2(m/s), Time t(second) & Accelaration a(m/s2) to determine the value of Initial Velocity V1(m/s).
Initial Velocity Formula:
The Initial Velocity V1(m/s) in meter per second is equal to the Final Velocity V2(m/s) in meter per second to subtracted by the Time t(second) in second into multiply the Accelaration a(m/s2) in meter per second square.
The Formula of Initial Velocity can be writtern as,
V1(m/s) = V2(m/s) – t(second) * a(m/s2)
Here,
V1(m/s) = Initial Velocity in meter per second
V2(m/s) = Final Velocity in meter per second
t(second) = Time in second
a(m/s2) = Accelaration in meter per second square
Calculation for Initial Velocity:
1)Calculate the Initial Velocity and given for Final Velocity = 6m/s , time = 2s , accelaration = 2m/s2.
Solution
V1 = V2 – t * a
V1 = 6 – 2 * 2
V1 = 2m/s.
2)Calculate the Accelaration and given for Final Velocity = 6m/s , time = 2s , Initial Velocity = 2m/s.
Solution
V1 = V2 – t * a
2 = 6 – 2 * a
a = 2m/s2.
