Initial Momentum Formula:

The Initial Momentum pi(kg*m/s) in kilogram meter per second is equal to the Final Velocity Vf(m/s) in meter per second is subtracted by the Change in Velocity dV(m/s) in meter per second and then multiply the Mass m(kg) in kilogram.

The Formula of Initial Momentum can be writtern as,

pi(kg*m/s) = ( Vf(m/s) – dV(m/s) ) * m(kg)

Here,

pi(kg*m/s) = Initial Momentum in kilogram meter per second

Vf(m/s) = Final Velocity in meter per second

dV(m/s) = Change in Velocity in meter per second

m(kg) = Mass in kilogram

pi = ( Vf – dV ) * m

Answer

pi = ( Vf – dV ) * m
