Impact Velocity Formula:

The Impact Velocity v(m/s) in meter per second is equal to the SQRT of the value of 2 into multiply the Accelaration of gravity g(9.81m/s2) in meter per seconds square and again multiply the Height of the object h(m) in meter.

The Equation of the Impact Velocity can be writtern as,

v(m/s) = √ ( 2 * g(9.81m/s2) * h(m) )

Here,

v(m/s) = Impact Velocity in meter per second

g(9.81m/s2) = Accelaration of gravity in meter per seconds square

h(m) = Height of the object in meter

Calculation for Impact Velocity:

v = √ ( 2 * 9.81 * 8 )

v = 12.52m/s.

2)Determine the Height and given for gravity = 9.81m/s2 , Impact Velocity = 12.52m/s.
