Height to Velocity Calculator:>
Enter the values of Height H(m) & Accelaration of gravity a(m/s2) to determine the value of Height to Velocity V(m/s).
Height to Velocity Formula:
The Height to Velocity V(m/s) in meter per second is equal to the SQRT of the value of 2 into multiply the Height H(m) in meter is divided by the Accelaration of gravity a(m/s2) in meter per second square and again multiply the Accelaration of gravity a(m/s2) in meter per second square.
The Formula of Height to Velocity can be writtern as,
V(m/s) = SQRT ( 2 * H(m) / a(m/s2) ) * a(m/s2)
Here,
V(m/s) = Height to Velocity in meter per second
H(m) = Height in meter
a(m/s2) = Accelaration of gravity in meter per second square
Calculation for Height to Velocity:
1)Determine the Height to Velocity and given for Height = 45m , Accelaration of gravity = 9.81 m/s2.
Answer
V = √ ( 2 * H / a ) * a
V = √ ( 2 * 45 / 9.81 ) * 9.81
V = 29.71m/s.
2)Determine the Height and given for , Accelaration of gravity = 9.81 m/s2, the Height to Velocity = 29.71m/s.
Answer
V = √ ( 2 * H / a ) * a
29.71 = √ ( 2 * H / 9.81 ) * 9.81
H = 45m.
