Heating Energy Calculator:
Enter the values of Mass of the Material to be Heated m(kg), Specific Heat of Material C(J/kg-C) & Temperature Change Through the Heat T(C) to determine the value of Heating Energy E(J).
Heating Energy Formula:
The Heating Energy E(J) in Joules is Equal to the Mass of the Material to be Heated m(kg) in kilogram and Multiply the Specific Heat of Material C(J/kg-C) in Joule per kilogram-coulomb and again Multiply the Temperature Change Through the Heat T(C) in Coulomb.
The Formula of Heating Energy can be written as,
E(J) = m(kg) * C(J/kg-C) * T(C)
Here,
E(J) = Heating Energy in Joules
m(kg) = Mass of the Material to be Heated in kilogram
C(J/kg-C) = Specific Heat of Material in Joule per kilogram-coulomb
T(C) = Temperature Change Through the Heat in Coulomb
Heating Energy Calculation:
1) Calculate the Heating Energy and given for the Mass of the Material = 400kg , Specific Heat of Material = 1.86J/kg-C , Temperature = 25C.
Answer
E = m * C * T
E = 400 * 1.86 * 25
E = 18600J.
2) Calculate the Temperature and given for the Mass of the Material = 400kg , Specific Heat of Material = 1.86J/kg-C , Heating Energy = 18600J.
Answer
E = m * C * T
18600 = 400 * 1.86 * T
T = 25C.
