The Equation of Go-Kart Acceleration can be written as,

A(m/s2) = Fgk(N) / ( mgk(kg) + md(kg) )

Here,

A(m/s2) = Go-Kart Acceleration in meter per second square

Fgk(N) = Force Generated by the Go-Kart Engine in Newton

Go-Kart Acceleration Calculation :

1)Calculate the Go-Kart Acceleration and given for Force Generated by the Go-Kart Engine = 800N , Mass of the Go-Kart = 100kg , Mass of the Driver = 50kg.

Answer

A = Fgk / ( mgk + md )

A = 800 / ( 100 + 50 )

A = 5.33m/s2.

2)Calculate the Mass of the Driver and given for Force Generated by the Go-Kart Engine = 800N , Mass of the Go-Kart = 100kg , Go-Kart Acceleration = 5.33m/s2.

Answer

A = Fgk / ( mgk + md )

5.33 = 800 / ( 100 + md )

Md = 50kg.
