Falling Momentum Calculator:
Enter the values of Acceleration of gravity g(9.81m/s2) , Total Height of the Fall H(m) & Mass m(kg) to determine the value of Falling Momentum p(kg*m/s).
Falling Momentum Formula:
The Falling Momentum p(kg*m/s) in kilogram meter per second is equal to the SQRT of the Value of 2 into multiply the Acceleration of gravity g(9.81m/s2) in meter per second square and is multiply the Total Height of the Fall H(m) in meter and again multiply the Mass m(kg) in kilogram.
The Equation of Falling Momentum can be written as,
p(kg*m/s) = SQRT ( 2 * g(9.81m/s2) * H(m) ) * m(kg)
Here,
p(kg*m/s) = Falling Momentum in kilogram meter per second
g(9.81m/s2) = Acceleration of gravity in meter per second square
H(m) = Total Height of the Fall in meter
m(kg) = Mass in kilogram
Falling Momentum Calculation :
1)Calculate the Falling Momentum and given for Total Height of the Fall = 300m , Mass = 6kg.
Answer
p = √ ( 2 * g * H ) * m
p = √ ( 2 * 9.81 * 300 ) * 6
p = 460.32kg*m/s.
2)Calculate the Mass and given for Total Height of the Fall = 300m , Falling Momentum = 460.32kg*m/s.
Answer
p = √ ( 2 * g * H ) * m
460.32 = √ ( 2 * 9.81 * 300 ) * m
m = 6kg.
