The Escape Velocity ev(m/s) in meter per second is equal to the value of 2 into multiply the Mass of the planet M(5.972 × 1024 kg) in kilogram and again multiply the Gravitational constant G(6.674 * 10(-11) N * m2 / kg2) in Newton meter square per kilogram square is divided by the Radius of the planet R(m) in meter to the one-half power.

Solution

ev = ( 2 * M * G / R )(0.5)

4.566e-9 = ( 2 * 5.972 × 1024 * 6.674 * 10(-11) / R )(0.5)

R = 10m.
