Duct Velocity Formula:
The Duct Velocity V(FPM) in Feet Per Minute is equal to the Volumetric Flow Rate of the air from the duct CFM(Ft3/minute) in Feet cubic per minute is divided by the Cross-sectional Area A(Feet2) in feet square.
The Formula of Duct Velocity can be writtern as,
V(FPM) = CFM(Ft3/minute) / A(Feet2)
