Annular Velocity Formula:

The Annular Velocity AV(ft/min) in feet per second is equal to the Pump Output PO(bbl/min) in bbl per minute to multiply the Annular capacity AC(bbl/ft) in bbl per feet.

The Equation of Annular Velocity can be writtern as,

AV(ft/min) = PO(bbl/min) * AC(bbl/ft)

Here,

Calculation For Annular Velocity:

AV = PO * AC

AV = 10.5 * .25

AV = 2.625ft/second.

2)Determine the Annular capacity  and given for Pump Output = 10.5bbl/min , Annular Velocity = 2.625ft/second.
