Scissor Lift Force Formula:

The scissor lift force F(lbf) in lbf is equal to the weight of the payload W(lbf) in lbf to addition of the weight of the scissor arms WA(lbf) in lbf and divided by 2times and again divided by the angle between arms and the ground a(degree) in degree.

The equation of scissor lift force can be writtern as,

F(lbf)  =  (W(lbf) + ( WA(lbf) / 2 ) ) / ( Tan(a(degree) )

Here,

F(lbf)  =  scissor lift force in lbf

W(lbf) =  weight of the payload in lbf

1)To find scissor lift force and weight of the payload 45lbf and weight of the scissor arms 45lbf and angle between arms and the ground 25degree.

Answer

F = ( W + ( WA / 2 ) ) / ( Tan(a) )

F = ( 45 + ( 45 / 2 ) ) / ( Tan (25) )

F = -123.50 lbf.

2)To find weight of the scissor arms and scissor lift force 123.50 lbf  and weight of the payload 45lbf and angle between arms and the ground 25degree.

Answer
