Resistance Force Formula:

The effort force EF(Newton) in Newton multiply by the distance from the effort force D1(feet) in feet divided by the product of  the distance from the resistance force D2(feet) in feet is equal to the Resistance force Fr(Newton) in Newton.

The equation of the Resistance force Fr(Newton) can be written as,

Fr(Newton) = EF(Newton) * D1(feet) / D2(feet)

Here,

Fr(Newton) = the Resistance force Fr(Newton) in Newton

EF(Newton) = the effort force in Newton

Answer

Fr = EF * D1 / D2

Answer

Fr = EF * D1 / D2

180 = 60 * 3 / D2
