Rate of Acceleration Calculator
Enter the values of Final Velocity A2(m/s) , Initial Velocity A1(m/s) & Change in Time dT(sec) to determine the value of Rate of Acceleration A(m/s2).
Rate of Acceleration Formula
The Rate of Acceleration A(m/s2) in meter per second square is equal to the Final Velocity A2(m/s) in meter per second is subtracted by the Initial Velocity A1(m/s) in meter per second and is Divided by the Change in Time dT(sec) in second.
The Equation of Rate of Acceleration can be written as,
A(m/s2) = ( A2(m/s) – A1(m/s) ) / dT(sec)
Here,
A(m/s2) = Rate of Acceleration in meter per second square
A2(m/s) = Final Velocity in meter per second
A1(m/s) = Initial Velocity in meter per second
dT(sec) = Change in Time in second
Rate of Acceleration Calculation :
1)Calculate the Rate of Acceleration and given for Final Velocity = 100m/s , Initial Velocity = 25m/s , Change in Time = 5sec.
Answer
A = ( A2 – A1 ) / dT
A = ( 100 – 25 ) / 5
A = 15m/s2.
2)Calculate the Change in Time and given for Final Velocity = 100m/s , Initial Velocity = 25m/s , Rate of Acceleration = 15m/s2.
Answer
A = ( A2 – A1 ) / dT
15 = ( 100 – 25 ) / dT
dT = 5sec.
