Pulley Acceleration Calculator, Formula, Pulley Acceleration Calculation

Pulley Acceleration Calculator:

Enter the values of Tension pull force of the pulley T(Newton) , Mass of the object m(kg) & Acceleration of gravity to determine the value of Pulley Acceleration g(9.81m/s2).

Enter Tension Pull Force of the Pulley: max
Enter Mass of the Object: Hz

Result – Pulley Acceleration i: m/s2

Pulley Acceleration Formula:

The Pulley Acceleration PA(m/s2) in meter per second square is equal to the Tension pull force of the pulley T(Newton) in Newton is Divided by the Mass of the object m(kg) in kilogram and is subtracted by the Acceleration of gravity g(9.81m/s2) in meter per second square.

The Formula of Pulley Acceleration can be written as,

PA(m/s2) = T(Newton) / (m(kg) – g(9.81m/s2) )

Here,

PA(m/s2) = Pulley Acceleration in meter per second square

T(Newton) = Tension pull force of the pulley in Newton

m(kg) = Mass of the object in kilogram

g(9.81m/s2) = Acceleration of gravity in meter per second square

Pulley Acceleration Calculation :

1)Calculate the Pulley Acceleration and given for Tension pull force of the pulley = 1000N , Mass = 15kg.

Answer

PA = T / ( m – g )

PA = 1000 / ( 15 – 9.81 )

PA = 57.56m/s2.

2)Calculate the Mass and given for Tension pull force of the pulley = 1000N , Pulley Acceleration = 57.56m/s2.

Answer

PA = T / ( m – g )

57.56 = 1000 / ( m – 9.81 )

m = 15kg.
