Linear Acceleration Calculator, Formula, Linear Acceleration Calculation

Linear Acceleration Calculator:

Enter the values of Angular Acceleration aa(radian/s2) & Radius aa(radian/s2)  to determine the value of Linear Acceleration AL(m/s2).

Enter Angular Acceleration: radian/s2
Enter Radius: m

Result – Linear Acceleration: m/s2

Linear Acceleration Formula:

The Linear Acceleration AL(m/s2) in meter per second square is equal to the Angular Acceleration aa(radian/s2) in radian per second square and multiply the Radius r(m) in meter.

The Equation of Linear Acceleration can be written as,

AL(m/s2) = aa(radian/s2) * r(m)

Here,

AL(m/s2) = Linear Acceleration in meter per second square

aa(radian/s2) = Angular Acceleration in radian per second square

r(m) = Radius in meter

Linear Acceleration Calculation :

1)Calculate the Linear Acceleration and given for Angular Acceleration = 50rad/s2 , Radius = 20m.

Answer

AL = aa * r

AL = 50 * 20

AL = 1000m/s2.

2)Calculate the Radius and given for Angular Acceleration = 50rad/s2 , Linear Acceleration = 1000m/s2.

Answer

AL = aa * r

1000 = 50 * r

r = 20m.
