Strip line Trace Width Calculation, Formula, Example

Strip line Trace Width Calculator

Strip line is one of the high-speed transmission lines used in the PCB. The strip lines are traced in the internal layer of PCB. These lines are surrounded by the dielectric material which currents are not to be passed outside of these transmission lines.

The strip line requires multilayers for supporting the two ground planes so it is complicated for manufacturing these transmission lines. The internal routing of strip lines reduces the EMI and it act as a better protection for the circuits.
