kVAR, MVAR, VAR to Voltage (V) Calculation Calculator

kVAR, MVAR, VAR to Voltage Calculator:

First choose the reactive power unit, in which you have to find the exact voltage rating. The choose the number of phases and enter the current. The calculator gives you the voltage rating in Volts.

Choose Voltage From:
Number of Phase SingleThree
Enter Reactive Power:
Enter Reactive Current: A

Result Voltage in Volts: V

kVAR, MVAR, VAR to Voltage Calculation:

VAR is the unit of reactive power and Voltage is the unit of electrical potential difference. Electrical voltage V(V) in volts is equal to the 1000 times of reactive power Q(kVAR) in kilovolt amp reactive divided by the reactive current I(A) in amps. In other words,

  • Voltage is equal to VAR divided by the reactive current
  • Voltage is equal to 10,00,000 times of MVAR divided by the reactive current in amps.

Let we write the formula as below,

KVAR to Voltage calculation:

V(V) = 1000 x Q(kVAR) / I(A)

MVAR to Voltage calculation:

V(V) = 1000000 x Q(kVAR) / I(A)

VAR to Voltage calculation:

V(V) = Q(kVAR) / I(A)

The above formula is applicable for only single-phase supply.

For calculating three-phase voltage from kVAR, VAR and MVR, you can use the below-mentioned formula.

KVAR to three-phase Voltage calculation:

V(V) = 1000 x Q(kVAR) / (1.732 x I(A))

MVAR to three-phase Voltage calculation:

V(V) = 1000000 x Q(kVAR) / (1.732 x I(A))

VAR to three-phase Voltage calculation:

V(V) = Q(kVAR) / (1.732 x I(A))
